The hotel was comfy and exceptionally friendly, even so I stayed for 2 nights only. Extremely spacious room and lovely bed so I slept well. The food was excellent - a wide range of options. The position of the venue was great and stunning, in the mountains. Moreover, it's short walk to Riaño and center of town. I truly enjoyed the stay and would recomand the venue.

The rooms at this hotel were incredibly comfortable, with spacious bedrooms and well-fitted bathrooms. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was excellent. The views from the balcony were breathtaking, overlooking the lake and distant mountains. Despite the small town, there were beautiful views and great food at reasonable prices. The hotel's location right in the town center made it convenient for exploring. Although the town may have been quiet during our visit, I can imagine it being a bustling hub during the height of summer. I highly recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms, delicious food, and stunning views.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They even accommodated our early check-in and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. the location of the hotel was perfect, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and taking in the beautiful scenery. the food at the hotel was delicious and reasonably priced, giving us a taste of the local cuisine.
One minor downside was the late opening time of the restaurant for dinner. As British guests, 9pm was a bit late for us, but the staff were kind enough to make an exception and serve us some food before the official opening time.

As a motorbike traveler, I stayed at Hostal Sainz in Riaño for a night and it was a great value for money. The small, family-run hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff, especially Alberto who spoke good English, were friendly and arranged garage parking for my bike. The location was excellent for exploring the Picos, and my room had a balcony with a stunning view of the valley. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast and "menu del dia" lunches were delicious. I also appreciated the option for street parking, which felt safe for my bike.
I do recommend this hotel.
